How to trust this page

Where the ratings come from

A rubric you can see, a rating you can't buy, and prices shown plainly in their own column.

  • No provider pays to be listed, and no provider can pay to rank higher.
  • No ads, no sponsored placements, and no commissions shape the order or the scores.
  • The table is alphabetical — there is no "top pick" and no editor's favourite.
  • The rating is fixed: it comes only from the eight published dimensions.
  • Price lives in its own column and never drives the rating.
  • We describe what each provider offers or doesn't offer — we don't make claims about anyone's conduct.

The method, in short

Each provider is scored on all eight dimensions of The Root Eight. Every dimension earns none (0), partial (1), or strong (2), for a total out of sixteen. That total fills the Root-Cause Fit bar and sets the level: Strong (11–16), Solid (8–10), Fair (4–7), or Low (0–3).

Scores reflect information each provider makes publicly available — care model, labs, titration approach, support, maintenance, pricing transparency, and community. A missing feature is scored as absent, not as a fault. We review the field periodically and update as offerings change. Details can shift between reviews, so confirm specifics directly with the provider.

No provider pays to be listed or to rank, no commissions shape the order or the scores, and Lantana provides no medical care. Use this as a starting map, then talk to a licensed clinician about what fits you.

Where we hold the line on PMOS (PCOS) and medication

Tirzepatide and other GLP-1 medications are not FDA-approved to treat PMOS (PCOS). Where symptoms ease, that improvement follows from weight loss and better insulin sensitivity — it is downstream of those metabolic shifts, not a direct treatment of the syndrome. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety or efficacy. These medications are not for use during pregnancy or while trying to conceive. None of this is medical advice; it is a starting map for a conversation with a licensed clinician.
